Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR)

Electrical Installation Condition Reports are a method of ensuring you meet The Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 which is statutory, meaning it is the law.

It is a report of the condition of your electrical system highlighting any defects or non-compliances.

Portable Appliance Testing (PAT)

Portable appliance testing (PAT) is the term used to describe the examination of electrical appliances and equipment to ensure they are safe to use.

Many electrical safety defects can be found by visual examination but some types of defect can only be found by testing.

Electrical Maintenance

We provide electrical maintenance whether it’s a call out for lighting not working or planned maintenance for re-lamping.

We can provide maintenance packages or you can call us in as a one off visit for an emergency or for the odd job.

Our qualified electricians are always on hand when you need them.

Emergency Lighting

Emergency lighting is a safety backup system for an emergency situation when the main power supply to the normal lighting is lost. The loss of mains electricity could be the result of a fire, power cut or electrical fault and the normal lighting supply fails. Testing is generally carried out annually and this involves a 3-hour drain/drop test to ensure that the lighting illuminates and provides enough light for the required time.

The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 requires fire alarm systems to be maintained.

BS5839 Part provides guidance on the maintenance of fire alarm systems to check functionality to ensure the system complies as per the design.

Fire Extinguisher Servicing

Fire extinguishers should be regularly serviced and maintained to ensure they remain in good working condition and function correctly should they be required in the event of a fire. Servicing is generally carried out every 12 months.
